Safe, Structured, and Affordable Sober Living

Perimeter Recovery Residences is a GARR-certified, sober living facility and transitional residence. We specialize in helping men with 0 to 9 months of sobriety lay the foundation for a life of long-term recovery.

Our two sober living homes are in a quiet, working-class neighborhood in Chamblee, Georgia. The facilities are conveniently located near the intersection of I-85 and I-285, one of the most centrally located intersections of the Southeastern U.S.

At our facility, we provide residents with a safe, clean, structured, and supervised environment with the necessary accountability for them to begin their life in recovery.

All residents at Perimeter Recovery find and maintain a job, participate in weekly house meetings with the program director, attend multiple Twelve Step Meetings per week, find a sponsor, work the Twelve Steps, are accountable to their housemates and the program director on a daily basis, and help with the upkeep of the halfway home.

The residents all participate in these daily activities in a small, tight-knit community under the close supervision of program director, Bruce Friddle, who has been working hands-on as the director of sober living communities at this level since 2008.

This structure ensures that all residents are actively engaging in community life and that each man continues to maintain sobriety and makes progress in his recovery while living in the halfway house.

Maintaining sobriety and engaging in Twelve Step work with a sponsor are requirements for being a resident at Perimeter Recovery. All residents are given random drug and alcohol tests throughout their stay to ensure the community remains drug and alcohol free.

Perimeter is a sober living home, not an addiction treatment center or medical facility. We do not have a medical staff or counseling staff, but we make referrals and facilitate appointments with outside counselors and medical providers.

At Perimeter Recovery our focus is on helping our adult male clients reenter society as productive members. We promote a simple, mature path to long-term recovery using God, community, and the Twelve Step program.
